I for one am glad the festive period is over. Office parties starring teetering hordes of amateur alcoholics, everything going up in price and silly songs featuring diminutive prepubescent percussionists that go “pa rum pa pump um.” (I searched the gospels for this anti social noise nuisance but he seems to be oddly absent from all four.)
