Dear members,

Some of you have rightly shown concern over the Electoral Commissions recent decision to de-register the party. This unfortunate incident is due to what amounts to an administrative error. The party insists that all necessary information was provided to the EC and the appropriate fee paid in a timely and ordered manner. The ECs decision is automatic and as they keep reminding us, “Not Discretionary “. So the only option was to re-register the party which has been actioned and It’s now a matter for the EC to process the application. We assure you that all steps possible have been taken to resolve the issue and we remain active.
