The Real Pandemic

The Real Pandemic

For many months now a pandemic has been sweeping the western world. A disease that is a threat to health, our livelihoods and our very way of life. No, not covid-19, but a far more dangerous virus, that has infected the minds of government politicians all over the world: authoritarianism.

Symptoms include, but are not limited to, feelings of distrust and contempt for the public; brazen disregard for the rights of autonomous human beings; and the perverse delusion that governments are entitled to control our lives.

Why We Should Oppose Mandatory Face mask Laws

Why We Should Oppose Mandatory Face mask Laws

Except, that may not be the case any longer if the pro-lockdown and Health & Safety zealots have anything to go by.

Sadly, the EU has taken advantage of this to demand a punitive financial payment of £39 billion and straightjacketed our economy by demanding compliance with its rules and regulations. This leaves …

Statement on Syria

Statement on Syria

In the early hours of Saturday morning  14th April 2018 the combined military might of the US, UK and France launched what amounts to an unprovoked attack on the sovereign nation state of Syria.  The pretext of the attack, to punish Bashar Al Assad and his regime for the alleged use of chemical weapons against his own civilian population.

Why then do I  say unprovoked? Because Assad posed no threat to the security, interests, overseas dominions, allies or peoples of the three countries involved.

But surely we can’t …

100 Years on: Remembering the Millions who suffered under Socialism

100 Years on: Remembering the Millions who suffered under Socialism

There are two places only where socialism will work: in heaven, where it is not needed, and in hell where they already have it. – Winston Churchill

It is a recurring theme amongst socialists to argue that, if we only adopt the right system, a wonderful utopia awaits us. Indeed, the word “Utopia” owes its origin to Thomas More’s book of the same name about a mythical island where there is no private property and everyone takes what he needs. It is therefore an extremely appropriate …
