AGM Announced by Leader Tam Laird

AGM Announced by Leader Tam Laird

I am happy to announce that our AGM will take place on the 20th of November this year. This is a great opportunity to voice your opinion on party policy and meet with fellow members – it has been too long getting to know people through a screen!

With the announcement of the AGM, I want to put a rallying call out to members. As of the 20th August, submissions will be open for policy proposals from members who wish to influence change. These submissions should …

The Results Are In!

The Results Are In!

It was quite a battle to get here! And the results are more than impressive – this is the first time in history every voter in Scotland was able to vote for a libertarian party. Without any support from the media or tons of money, we have brought our message to the people willing to listen. It’s quite hard to bring new ideas to the public but we have made a good start on this journey.

We have run candidates in nine constituencies, also a record …

To Our New Members

To Our New Members

Our membership is growing which is good news for our party.

I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome our new members and apologise for any delay in getting acknowledgement from the party by way of letter or welcome pack. As I have mentioned before the harvest has been good but the workers few.

That is changing and the backlog is dwindling as this goes out, so that you should at least receive a letter and temporary membership card soon, if you haven’t already.

We will try to …

Murder in Holyrood

Murder in Holyrood

A vicious and brutal assault was carried out in the Scottish Parliament yesterday resulting in a tragic and senseless death.

The victim “Free Speech” lay lifeless on the floor of the parliament as the 82 perpetrators, all MSPs, gloated and congratulated each other. Only 32 MSPs protested and tried to help the victim while 4 shamefully turned there backs and chose not to intervene,

The names of the perpetrators are as yet unknown, but continue to watch this space as full names and constituencies will be posted …

“I’m not aware of any liberal democracy that has got a bill that is as unbelievably authoritarian as this one.”  Dr. Stuart Waiton

Many of you may know the SNP and in particular the “Justice” Minister Humza Yousaf are determined to introduce their latest assault on individual liberty, The Hate Crime Bill.

See the previous article on this website for more details here:

Statement on Brexit

Statement on Brexit

Brexit Statement.

When she took office, Theresa May claimed that “To deliver Brexit, you must believe in Brexit.” She doesn’t, so she hasn’t. Her belief that Brexit is fundamentally bad for Britain has shaped her approach to the issue. She believes that the best Brexit is the weakest Brexit, irrespective of what we voted for. Sadly, the EU has taken advantage of this to demand a punitive financial payment of £39 billion and straightjacketed our economy by demanding compliance with its rules and regulations. This leaves …

Statement on Syria

Statement on Syria

In the early hours of Saturday morning  14th April 2018 the combined military might of the US, UK and France launched what amounts to an unprovoked attack on the sovereign nation state of Syria.  The pretext of the attack, to punish Bashar Al Assad and his regime for the alleged use of chemical weapons against his own civilian population.

Why then do I  say unprovoked? Because Assad posed no threat to the security, interests, overseas dominions, allies or peoples of the three countries involved.

But surely we can’t …

The Case of The Nazi Pug : A Joke That’s No Laughing Matter

The Case of The Nazi Pug : A Joke That’s No Laughing Matter

March 2018 deserves to be recorded for posterity as a milestone. Or indeed a tombstone. A time When the Scottish Judiciary drove what may be the final nail into the coffin of freedom of speech and expression in this country.

It has been manifestly obvious to anyone that Police Scotland are a political animal and creature of the Scottish Notional Party. It would now also seem that the judiciary are firmly in their pocket.

At Airdrie Sheriff court after a trial lasting longer than Nurnberg, Markus Meechan …
