Aberdeen Councillor Flying the Flag of Liberty

Aberdeen Councillor Flying the Flag of Liberty

It is with great pleasure I am proud to announce another landmark event in the history of the Scottish Libertarian Party. Our first sitting councillor.

Sandy Wallace (a stout surname I think we can agree) , represents  Ward 18 Stonehaven and Lower Deeside and serves on the Aberdeen Community Planning Board, The Regulation of Private Renting Sub – Committee and the Sustainability Committee (that’s enough committees, Ed.) to name but a few. Sandy has joined us from the Scottish Conservatives of which he has been a …

Area Organisers to help coordinate party activity and meet up groups in their locality.

If you are in Glasgow/Lanarks, Inverness, Dumfries, Borders, Stirling/ Falkirk or Perth we need a committed activist in each of those areas.

Welcome to Our New Members

Welcome to Our New Members

Membership of our party has grown quickly over the past few weeks and we extend our welcome to all who have joined.

While this is great news for us as a party, it is also a reflection on the fact that individual liberty, freedom of conscience, speech and expression have never been under greater threat in our country’s modern history.

There never has been a more crucial time to join us in our fight. Activists are the lifeblood of any movement and we encourage new members to …

Statement on Brexit

Statement on Brexit

Brexit Statement.

When she took office, Theresa May claimed that “To deliver Brexit, you must believe in Brexit.” She doesn’t, so she hasn’t. Her belief that Brexit is fundamentally bad for Britain has shaped her approach to the issue. She believes that the best Brexit is the weakest Brexit, irrespective of what we voted for. Sadly, the EU has taken advantage of this to demand a punitive financial payment of £39 billion and straightjacketed our economy by demanding compliance with its rules and regulations. This leaves …

Meet the Libertarians

Meet the Libertarians
